Ed-Fi: Exclusion of Grades with Unmapped StoreCodes

With this update, grades with StoreCodes not mapped to reporting terms are now excluded from Ed-Fi publishing.

Previously, attempting to publish such grades resulted in frequent errors, as the Ed-Fi ODS does not accept grades without valid term mappings. This enhancement ensures that only grades aligned with defined reporting terms are published, thereby reducing errors and improving data quality on the Ed-Fi dashboard.

Ed-Fi: New Behavior Code Set mapping

A new Behavior Code Set Mapping section has been added to the Code Set Mapping page to support accurate publishing of Discipline resources to Ed-Fi.

• State Reportable Codes Only: Only behavior codes that are state-reportable will appear for mapping on the Code set mapping page.

• Subcode Handling:

  • If a behavior code includes subcodes, those subcodes will be displayed for mapping. Subcodes are shown as hyphenated codes (e.g., BEH-001).

  • If no subcodes exist, the main behavior codes will be shown instead.

Important:

• Ensure all behavior codes that need to be published are mapped to the values expected by the state before publishing Discipline data.

• If a behavior code should not be mapped, make sure it is not marked as state-reportable, and it will not appear on the Code Set Mapping page.

Ed-Fi: New Discipline Descriptor Code Set mapping for Actions

A new Discipline Descriptor Code Set Mapping section has been added to the Code Set Mapping page to support accurate publishing of Discipline Action to Ed-Fi.

• State Reportable Codes Only: Only Action codes that are state-reportable will appear for mapping on the Code set mapping page.

Ed-Fi: Partial Attendance

This ticket addresses a bug where partial attendance values for Daily attendance codes with an Attendance value greater than 0.5 and less than 1 (e.g., 0.75) on the Code to Day conversion page, were not being published with the correct present attendance code in Ed-Fi.

Ed-Fi: Update to Discipline Behavior

The publishing of Student Discipline Incident Behavior will no longer depend on the offender attributes. All Behaviors tagged to Offenders on the Incident Page will now be published, regardless of whether offender-specific attributes are present.
