SCDE Ed-Fi: Inactive Student Publishing Logic Changes to SSA

The processing logic for publishing data related to inactive students, those inactive from previous academic years and not current year, has been updated to include only the last two enrollments instead of the earlier limit of five when publishing Student School Association.

SCDE: Updates to Programs and Student Program Associations

The mapping logic for a student’s EFA entries has been updated. EFA fields are now mapped to Program Name in the Student Program resource, and to both Program Name and Program Type Descriptor in the Student Program Association resource. Additionally, Program Name has been mapped to the parent Programs resource within Organization Info.

With this update, users are required to publish the Organization Info resource before publishing the Student Program resource from the Data Exchange Dashboard for the new mappings to reflect correctly.

Student's State Information Page – Confirmation Message Now Within the Page

The post-submission behavior on a student’s South Carolina State Information page has been updated to improve user experience. Previously, users were redirected to a separate Changes Recorded page after submitting updates. This has been corrected so that users now remain on the same page, with a confirmation message, “The changes have been recorded”, displayed at the top, in alignment with other pages across the system.
