The incorrect codeValue of "S" previously sent for the STEM Specialization Seal of Distinction under academicHonorCategoryDescriptor has been corrected to "STEM".

Ed-Fi: studentEducationOrganizationAssociations - Multiple Email Addresses Reporting

Previously, only one email address was being sent in the studentEducationOrganizationAssociations, electronicMails array, even when multiple email fields were populated. Specifically, if the U_SCDE_STU_X.Postgrad_Stu_Email field is filled, it would overwrite other email addresses instead of appending to the array.

The system now correctly sends multiple email addresses, each paired with its respective electronicMailTypeDescriptor.

SCDE Ed-Fi: New Elements Added to myIGDIs Student Assessment Registrations

As part of this update, two new elements have been added to the Student Assessment Registrations resource under Assessments for MyIGDIs:

  • tschoolid – Publishes the Section’s School ID

  • tschoolname – Publishes the Section’s School Name

SCDE Ed-Fi: Update to Career Readiness Student Assessment Registrations

As part of this update, below changes have been made to the Student Assessment Registrations resource for Career Readiness Assessments:

  • When no race value is indicated, the system will now publish 1 Blank

  • The 9th grade entry year will now be published in the format 9GRYY, where YY represents the last two digits of the year. Example: For 2023, the value will be 9GR23.

SCDE Ed-Fi: Updates To myIGDIs Assessment Rostering

Updates have been made to myIGDIs assessment rostering in alignment with SCDE requirements. Key changes include:

  • Exclusion of PK4 Students in -991 Schools: PK4 students enrolled in schools with the -991 school code are now excluded from publishing.

  • Support for Remote Enrollments: Data for students enrolled remotely is now included in Ed-Fi publishing, ensuring accurate rostering based on the instructional location.

  • Course-Based Event Generation: Students are now selected for myIGDIs assessment rostering based on enrollment in course code 0889, rather than by grade level.

SCDE Update: New Exit Code

Added new exit code, W43 (Out-of-Country), is added to the exit code dropdown lists on the Current Enrollment and Edit Previous Enrollment pages.

SCDE Update: Read to Succeed Page Changes

The following updates have been made to the Read to Succeed page:

  • Good Cause Exemptions

    • The Reading Portfolio option has been disabled

  • Summer Reading Camp Eligibility

    • The first two Summer Reading Camp Eligibility Determination Factor fields have been updated with revised values (details as per SCDE specifications)

  • Assessment Tool Options

    • The ISIP option has been disabled in both the Pre-Assessment Tool and Post-Assessment Tool dropdowns

  • Section Label Update

    • Previous Label: Complete the following data for Second or Third Graders Participating in Summer Reading Camp

    • New Label: Complete the following data for All Students Participating in Summer Reading Camp

  • UI Adjustment

    • The view-only Retained Reason field has been repositioned closer to its label for improved readability
