State Reporting 25.9.3.0 Release Notes

PSSR-404968	All States/Provinces: Minimum PowerSchool version for State Reporting - 25.3.0.1	The minimum supported version on the PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 25.3.0.1 or later. PSSR-405676	All States/Provinces: NCEA - 2025-26 NCEA Updates	Additional References: PSSR-405491, PSSR-405491, PSSR-406505, and PSSR-405491 The NCEA report and remaining data collection updates for the 2025-26 school year are now available. These include the following: The Diagnosed Disability field on the Student Information for NCEA Reporting has been updated to a multi-select. Users will now be able to select multiple disabilities. A new question has been added: Early childhood Education center (not directly affiliated with another school). This question is available on the School Information for NCEA Reporting page, and the field’s name is eccenter_tf. NCEA Report Version - 25.9.3.0 The report now includes these 2 questions: How many students are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race? The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the student Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question. The sum of the number of students fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output. How many professional staff are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race? The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the staff member Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question. The sum of the number of staff fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output. The Diocese and the School Summary reports include a new column called Multiple Diagnosed Disabilities in the CSV file and a new row in the PDF report output. The student will be counted if the student has more than one value in the Diagnosed Disability field. The Diocese PDF file, line item including the Number of Schools with a board, commission or council by type has been updated to segregate the output based on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
PSSR-357285	All States/Provinces: Updates to the Attendance Change History Report	Attendance Change History Report: Version 1.4 The following updates are now available for the Attendance Change History Report: The IP address parameter has been renamed to Enter IP Addresses, and it will accept multiple IP addresses. Multiple IP addresses must be comma-separated. The parameter is now a text box. Report output now filters Grade Levels based on the specified start and end dates, instead of evaluating all grade levels. The Select Period parameter will now show every period available for the selected school. The Select Who modified parameter will now show every user available for the selected school. The Selected Changed From/To Attendance Code Values parameters will now show up for every attendance code available for the school.
PSSR-340209	All States/Provinces: Updates to the Discipline Incident Letter Report	Additional Reference: PSSR-340210 Discipline Incident Letter Report: Version 1.6 The following updates have been implemented for the Discipline Incident Letters: The Discipline Incident Letter Report has been updated to include the Principal’s Signature in the report output. Districts will have the ability to upload the Principal’s Signature from the Incident Letter Template creation/edit page. The Discipline Incident Letter Report will now include Board Policy Violations associated with the Behavior.
PSSR-321028	Ed-Fi Framework: Enhancement to Data Publishing Page	The Data publishing page, from System administrator - Data exchange, has been enhanced to allow filtering and sorting on the columns.
PSSR-406212	Ed-Fi Framework: Student Publishing Page Display Update	The display issue with the 'Publish All' button on the student publishing page, which briefly appeared at the top before disappearing, has been fixed.
PSSR-396564	Ed-Fi Framework: Removed PUBLISH ERRORS Option from the Run Now Button	The “PUBLISH ERRORS” option has been removed from both the Run Now and Run All features on the dashboard. To enhance clarity and simplicity, we have retained the “RETRY ERRORS” functionality, which now encompasses the capabilities of the former PUBLISH ERRORS. This means that if users wish to address errors even after certain number of days, the system will re-gather data to ensure its accuracy before re-running the processing.
PSSR-405060	Ed-Fi: Updates to Enrollment Resource Publishing of Inactive Students from Prior Years	The Ed-Fi publishing logic for the Student Enrollments resource has been refined to improve performance when handling inactive students from prior years. The system now looks back up to five school years to identify the last two enrollments for an inactive student, replacing the previous approach which had no limit on the historical data scanned.
PSSR-374073	Enhanced Usability: Navigate Back to District Info from SC Discipline Codes	A new page hyperlink has been added to the South Carolina – Discipline Codes and Subcodes Load Information page, allowing users to navigate directly back to the District Info page. This enhancement has addressed a previous gap in navigation, improving usability by reducing the need to manually return through multiple steps.
PSSR-388678	SCDE Ed-Fi: PIP Mapping Changes	Updates have been made to the program name and program type descriptors in the studentSchoolFoodServiceProgramAssociation resource to align with SCDE requirements.
PSSR-396403	SCDE Ed-Fi: Additional IGP Indicator Mappings	New IGP indicator mappings have been added to the studentEducationOrganizationAssociations resource to support SCDE Ed-Fi publishing. These include mappings for Cluster, Major, and Postsecondary Plan based on values from relevant IGP tables. For each indicator, standardized values prefixed with “IGP_Cluster_”, “IGP_Major_”, or “IGP_Postsecondary_Plan_” have been published. When multiple values are present, the system has been configured to publish the earliest created value, and in cases of identical timestamps, the value is selected based on alphabetical order.
PSSR-377765	SCDE Ed-Fi: IGP Mapping Added to Student Demographics Resource	New IGP indicator mappings have been added to the studentEducationOrganizationAssociations resource under student indicators for Ed-Fi publishing. These mappings include values derived from IGP attendance and participation types, and primary IGP status.
PSSR-364213	SCDE Ed-Fi: Mapping Updates to Student Demographics Resource	Mapping updated for Career Readiness related Student indicators in studentEducationOrganizationAssociations resource to publish IndicatorName="CR_Grade12_Fall" and IndicatorValue=1, if Career Readiness Grade 12 – Fall checkbox on a student’s Precode Data Entry page is selected.

PSSR-364604	SCDE Ed-Fi: Updates to GOLD Assessment Rostering	The student assessment registration publishing selection logic for GOLD assessments has been updated to include All active PK4 students, excluding those enrolled under the -991 school code Only students enrolled in 0888 Course Other Updates Teacher’s username is now paired with their email address. The system no longer publishes blank student records, students who do not meet the eligibility criteria are excluded from the StudentAssessmentRegistration event. To improve the accuracy of course tracking, the logic has been updated to use Sections.Course_Number, which captures both home and remote enrollments. A new “code to publish” is added to the requirements. “username” should be paired with the teacher's email address. The code of “classroom” is changed to “homeroomname”. The logic is updated to clarify that the value should come from S_SC_STU_X.Home_Room.
PSSR-400175	SCDE Ed-Fi: New Foster Screener Mapping Added (Demographics Resource)	A new mapping has been added to publish studentCharacteristicDescriptors within the studentEducationOrganizationAssociation resource based on Foster Screener values. When the Foster Screener field contains specific values such as FFH - Foster Family Home, FHR - Foster Home of Relative, PAR - Biological Parent(s), GRH - Group Home, RSF - Residential Facility, or OTH - Other, the corresponding descriptor codes (FFH, FHR, PAR, GRH, RSF, OTH) have been published accordingly.
