|
PSSR-411673 | Ed-Fi Framework: Student Page Publish All Records Feature Update | The Publish All Records button on the Student Publishing page will now include on-demand category records such as attendance, transcripts, and others. This allows users to publish all student related records directly from the student page. |
PSSR-413060 | Ed-Fi Processing Logic Improvements | Ed-Fi publishing logic has been refined to adopt best practices, including improved handling of commonly used values. These updates help maintain code efficiency and reduce complexity, supporting long-term stability. No changes to current publishing functionality have been introduced. |
PSSR-409877 | Ed-Fi: Processing Logic Updated for Inactive Student Handling | Ed-Fi publishing logic for inactive students has been refined to improve internal efficiency by limiting processing to relevant resource categories. |
PSSR-411099 | Ed-Fi: Publishing Logic Updated for Schools Resource | Ed-Fi publishing logic for the Schools resource has been updated to address an issue where schools without active students and with grade ranges outside expected limits (such as -9 to 13) failed to publish. Previously, these schools returned a 400 error stating that SchoolGradeLevels must have at least one item, because grade level descriptors were missing from the JSON payload. The updated logic now ensures that if a school’s minimum grade is less than -2 or if the minimum grade exceeds the maximum grade, the system searches for the minimum and maximum grade levels of any student (active or inactive) within the valid range (-9 to 13) and publishes accordingly. |
PSSR-413061 | Ed-Fi: Updates to Student Sections Processing | Ed-Fi publishing code has been updated to follow best practices and improve long-term maintainability. These changes include refinements to internal processes for handling Student Section resource categories, ensuring the system remains efficient and reliable over time. No changes to functionality or publishing behavior have been introduced. |
PSSR-411486 | SC Ed-Fi Performance Updates: Student Contacts Resource Category | The processing speed of the publishing workflow for the Student Contacts category of Ed-Fi data has been optimized. These enhancements deliver a faster and more efficient experience, with no changes to existing functionality or impact on data accuracy. |
PSSR-389768 | Work Based Learning Page Validations | Previously, validations on Work-Based Learning (WBL) Experiences were displayed only when the experience dates fell within the current term, which meant that mandatory field validations and other checks were not shown for experiences outside that term. This has been updated with the current release to ensure that all validations are consistently applied to WBL Experiences (1 to 20), regardless of the start date’s term. This improvement provides administrators with a reliable and uniform validation process across all experiences. |
PSSR-403018 | Work Based Learning Page Validations for Data Entry Outside the Current Term | Work-Based Learning (WBL) Experience Start and End Dates are now validated to ensure they fall within the selected school year. For example, for SY 2025–26, both dates must be between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. If dates fall outside this range, the system displays the message “Date must be within the school year” and prevents saving the record. This update helps maintain data accuracy and compliance with state reporting requirements. |
PSSR-376707 | Ed-Fi: Expanded Ed-Fi Publishing for Schools with Include in Ed-Fi Flag (Student Resources) | The system has been enhanced to publish more student-level resources to Ed-Fi when a school has the Include in Ed-Fi flag selected on the School Info page along with the Exclude From State Reporting? flag. Previously, only a limited set of resources were published. With this update, additional resources including Student Contacts, Student Sections, Student Programs, Assessments, and Student Discipline are now also published. |
PSSR-376711 | Ed-Fi: Expanded Ed-Fi Publishing for Schools with Include in Ed-Fi Flag (On Demand Resources) | The system has been enhanced to publish additional data to Ed-Fi when a school has the Include in Ed-Fi flag selected on the School Info page along with the Exclude From State Reporting? flag. This flag can be accessed directly on the School Info page for easy configuration. Previously, only organization-level and student-level resources such as Organization Info, Calendars, Schedules, Student Identification, and Student Enrollments were published. With this update, on-demand resources including Attendance, Student Grades, and Transcripts are now also published, ensuring more comprehensive data sharing and improved compliance with Ed-Fi standards. |
PSSR-366331 | Ed-Fi: Publish Selection Enhancement for Grades | An enhanced publishing option has been introduced for the Grades Resource category, enabling users to publish data to Ed-Fi for selected students only. This streamlines workflows by removing the need for manual republishing or full-category publishing when targeting individual or multiple students. Once students are selected on the home page, users can navigate to Data Exchange and use the new Publish Selection option under Data Publishing Options while scheduling the Grades Resource. This enhancement aligns with similar capabilities already available for non–on-demand student resources such as Identification, Enrollments, Contacts, Sections, Programs, Assessments, Attendance and Student Discipline, ensuring a consistent and efficient publishing experience. |
