Data from the 'Current' tab is archived to the 'Previous' tab by making a student selection and running the Archive SPED Records Special function (Start Page > Special Functions > New Jersey Special Functions), or by running the NJ Archive SPED Data Report.
The 'Previous' tab is a read only view of previous years SPED records. Click View to review the Student's corresponding data for a selected year.
The 'Previous' tab does not contain all fields listed on the current tab.

Program Type Code | This field defaults to the program type code value for the school enrollment, as entered on the NJ SMART Data Entry Fields page. Note: If you choose (determine using special program enrollments) blank will be stored in the database and the NJ SMART Extract will determine the NJ Program Type Code automatically based on the Students Grade level, their part-time student setting, and their special status setting, and their special program enrollments. For students with no special program enrollments, the values output will be the same as the NJ Grade Level Code. For students with special program enrollments the values output will be 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 56, 57.
