State Reporting 21.3.2.0 Release Notes

The Snapshot reports are fixed now and the reports are running and showing the completed successfully status as expected.

The following updates have been made to the Learning Preferences functionality:

• Learning Preferences Code creation link is moved to District Setup page under the Code Sets link.
  • If a state has code sets disabled then the Learning Preferences Code creation link can be found at the last section under the Code Setup Header
• The Code Start Date & Code End Date are now editable.
• The Learning Preferences link at Student-Level is renamed Digital Equity & Learning Preferences.
• When creating a new record, field values from the last record with the greatest Effective Date carry forward if present.
  • Fields that copy to a new record:
    • Internet In Residence
    • Internet Access
    • Internet Performance
    • Device Access
    • Device Type
    • Device Serial number
    • Paper Learning Packets

• Access to the Digital Equity & Learning Preferences link, at the student level, is now governed by a check box in the "Edit Security Group" page (path below).
  Path: Start page> System> Groups>[ select group ]
  Upon receiving the update, administrators must go into security groups and give the appropriate groups access to this page.
  Note: This security group setting is suppressed for ND and TX.

LA - EdLink extracts Updated versions:

LA_EdLink_Courses: Version 1.3
LA_EdLink_Discipline: Version 1.3
LA_EdLink_Homeless: Version 1.4
LA_EdLink_K-3_Assessments: Version 1.5

Various fields in these extracts are updated to enable reporting empty tags when dates or conditionally mandatory fields have nothing to report. The discipline_offense_type_code and homeless_service_code are updated to report the actual code, not the description of the value. In the discipline_persons file, the incident_person_type of 'Students' is corrected to 'Student'.

LA EdLink Enrollments Report: Version 1.4

In the LA EdLink Enrollments Report, the ENTRY_GRADE_CODE for grades 1 through 9 is now reported with a leading zero.

LA EdLink Students Report: Version 1.5
In the EdLink Students_ext report, the FIRST_US_ENTRY_DATE, IAP_REVIEW_DATE, LAST_EVALUATION_DATE, and DISABILITY_01_CODE fields are no longer mandatory. These fields are reported with empty values when the information is not available to be reported.

LA EdLink Staff: Version: 1.4

A sixth extract option, vacant_staff_course_offering_link, is available in the LA EdLink Staff Report. This extract reports teacher schedule information for placeholder teachers representing vacant positions.

Reviewed and updated values in the IBC list to ensure all active codes appear. New codes 535 through 573 are also included in the values.

The values for the Career Option Codes appearing on the Academic/Progress tab are updated to match the latest list from the Department of Education.
