  • One or more schools have not been assigned to a Sub-District. This logic does not apply to schools that are excluded from state reporting.

PSSR-265140LA EdLink Transcripts: sts_transcript Updates

LA EdLink Transcripts: Version 1.3

Numerous columns have been updated in the sts_transcript output:

  • Course_part_num and DE_post_secondary_credit_hrs_earned were reporting "-99" if no data was found. These are updated to be empty between the tab delimiters.
  • Course_sponsor_cd, Course_site_cd, Distance_learning_course_type_cd, DE_secondary_site, Work_based_learning_category, and Work_based_learning_business_name were reporting "--" if no data was found. These are updated to be empty between the tab delimiters.
  • Course_BSSY was reporting the term ID (e.g. 3001 for 2020-21 semester 1). This is updated to report the starting year of the corresponding school year (e.g., 2020).
  • Grade_pt_max_cnt was choosing a parameter value to report based on the course typeset at the Sections level, and from the StoredGrades level only if the Sections field was null. This is updated to make the choice based first upon the StoredGrades field, then the Sections field, and finally the Courses field. It is also enhanced to allow more flexibility in how the parameter values are entered, by removing decimal points and right-padding as needed. For example, parameter values of "100", "1.00", "1", and "1.0" are all reported as "100" as desired.
PSSR-262707LA EdLink Reports – Implementation of the Sub District Functionality

The reports listed below now support the use of sub-districts. When running the report from the district office, users who have enabled sub-districts will see a new parameter allowing them to select which sub-district to run for. Only schools assigned to that sub-district are included in the output. Running the report from a single school behaves as before.

When the Sub-district functionality is enabled, the first 3 characters of the Sub District number will be extracted in the District Code column.
