Discipline Incident Object Update

The Discipline Incident Object has been enhanced to meet updated state reporting requirements for the upcoming academic year.

What's New

• New Data Elements Added:

  • IncidentCategory_OtherCode: Derived based on incident context involving harassment or bullying on the basis of gender identity or religion.

  • Victim_Type: Derived from victim subcodes to identify the role or relationship of the victim in the incident.

• Code Set Update:

  • Name_Type (IncidentReporter): Updated to use FullName.

Student School Enrollment Object Update

New Fields Added:

• Residency Status

  • Values: 01652–01656

  • Validation: If codes 01653–01656 are selected, prompt for Non-Resident Attend Reason

• Non-Resident Attend Reason

  • Values: 1657–1668

  • Validation: Required only for non-resident residency codes

• Promotion Status

  • Values: Promoted, Retained, Demoted

  • Validation:

    • Promoted → prompt for Promotion Reason

    • Retained/Demoted → prompt for Non-Promotion Reason

• Promotion Reason

  • Values: Accelerated, Continuous, Probationary, Regular, Variable Progress, Other

  • Validation: Required for promotion statuses

• Non-Promotion Reason

  • Values: Failed Testing, Illness, Immaturity, Inadequate Performance, Insufficient Credits

  • Validation: Required for retention/demotion statuses

Student School Enrollment Report Version: 1.1
The Student School Enrollment Object has been enhanced to support updated state reporting requirements:

• GradeLevel_OtherCode: Derived from enrollment membership status; logic applied for specific grades and attendance types.

• ExitStatus_Code

• ResidencyStatus: New state-defined codes supported.

• NonResidentAttendReason: Additional attendance reason codes added.

• PromotionStatus: Captures promotion/demotion status at enrollment closeout.

• Promotion_Code and Nonpromotion_Code: New fields added to reflect promotion outcomes.

• Residency Status: Dropdown added; triggers prompt for Non-Resident Attend Reason if applicable.

• Non-Resident Attend Reason: Dropdown shown only for specific residency codes.

• Promotion Status: Dropdown with validation to prompt for promotion or non-promotion reason.

• Promotion Reason: Required if student is promoted.

• Non-Promotion Reason: Required if student is retained or demoted.
