Attendance Register Display

Attendance Register Report Version - 4.4

The issue was occurring when a student had overlapping enrollments across two different schools. On such overlapping dates, the system was assigning two separate attendance codes—EL for the same date, which was incorrect.

We have now updated the logic to ensure that only a single character code is returned for a given date. In cases where both an entry and a leave occur on the same day across different schools, the system will now return G Gain (Leave and Entry), as specified in the report output.

This ensures that for any given date, only one attendance code is recorded, avoiding duplication or conflicts.

Calendar Type Default Value

Resolved an issue where selecting a blank value in the Calendar Type dropdown caused the SIF Extended element to omit the @Name attribute for CalendarType.

The system now publishes the CalendarType element with a default value of 'Main' and correctly includes the @Name attribute.

The LEA Info Object has been updated to include:

• New Fields Added:

  • GradeLevel – Collection of grade levels offered (replicated from MS)

  • GradeLevel_OtherCode – Supports additional codes (-2, -1, 0, 13)

  • AddressType – Added for Contact 1 and Contact 2; priority given to Mailing

The School Info Object has been enhanced to meet updated state reporting requirements. New fields and code sets have been added or updated to support accurate data submission to the State Operational Data Store (ODS).

• Title I Enhancements:

  • New status codes and program types added for accurate classification

• NSLP Status Updates:

  • Includes participation codes for Provision 1–3 and Community Eligibility Option (CEO)

Enhanced the Student Personal Object to align with updated state reporting requirements.

New Fields Added

• Citizenship Status

  • Values: US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Resident Alien, Non-Resident Alien, Refugee, Blank

  • Captures the student’s citizenship classification.

• Military Connected Student

  • Values: Not Military Connected, Active Duty, National Guard or Reserve, Unknown

  • Identifies military affiliation based on Armed Force, Reserve, and National Guard selections.

• Email List

  • Email Type: Hardcoded to Organizational

• Other_Name

  • Populated with the student’s Legal Name using the same schema as Name.
