Attendance Code Info Object – State Reporting Enhancements

These updates ensure compliance with state reporting standards and prevent submission errors due to incorrect code formatting.

What’s New:

1. Attendance Code Simplification:

   • Concatenated attendance codes (e.g., OSS-HDA, OSS-FDA) will now publish as OSS only.

   • Suffixes like -HDA and -FDA are removed from all published outputs to meet state formatting requirements.

2. New Attendance Code Added:

   • ISS (In-School Suspension) introduced for both half-day and full-day absences.

   • ISS follows the same publishing standards as other attendance codes and is now available for state reporting.

Behavior Code Formatting Fix for State Reporting

What’s New:

• Behavior Code Update:
  Specific behavior codes in Incident Management have been updated to remove leading zeros to comply with state XSD validation rules.

• Retroactive Fix:
  Existing incident records using the old codes have been updated to reflect the corrected versions.

• UI Improvements:
  Only corrected codes (e.g., 1010, 1020, etc.) now appear in dropdowns and lookup fields. Descriptions remain unchanged and correctly mapped.

• State Reporting Compliance:
  Only corrected codes are now published to the State ODS, eliminating XSD validation errors.

• This fix resolves critical state reporting failures caused by invalid behavior code formatting.

LEA Info Object – Update to Compliance UI Page

Compliance page is updated to align the LEA Info Object with current state reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and complete data submission to the State ODS.

What’s New:

1. New Fields Added:

   • Grades Offered:
     Collection of grade levels offered in the LEA which is positioned under ‘Additional Information’ section below Address.

2. Address Type Fields for Contacts:

   • New Address fields (Physical and Mailing) added in a shared section for both contacts.

A new Staff Title dropdown field has been added that Captures staff title using state-approved values for accurate publishing to the State ODS.

Staff Demographics Report Version: 1.1

Staff Personal object is updated to ensure compliance with the latest state reporting requirements and improve data accuracy for submissions to the State ODS.

What’s New:

1. New Element Published:

   • Staff Title from Staff, Compliance, Staff Information > Oklahoma State Information is now published to the State ODS.

2. Code Set Updates:

   • Name Type:
     @type updated to “FullName”

   • Address Type:
     @type updated to “Physical”

3. Data Viewer Update:

   • Staff Title is now visible in the Data Viewer for validation and review.
