Ohio Reports in PowerSchool
PowerSchool for Ohio provides a wide variety of Ohio-specific reports. The report description table below lists these reports and includes the following elements:
- Report Name – Name of the report as seen in PowerSchool.
- Description – The purpose of the report.
- Due Date / Cycle – The time frame during which the report is submitted to the state. Unless otherwise noted, see http://education.ohio.gov/ for due dates.

| Absence Validation for Truancy/Chronic Absenteeism Extract | This extract is used to validate absence values entered for EMIS reporting. It can also be used as a template to import absence information. | |
Use this extract for Career Technical courses. Use the report option to generate the CM record, which consists of local classroom codes that are “mapped” to another local classroom code. The state uses this information to combine students between the two classroom codes. Prior to running this report option, you must define the Local Classroom Code Mappings on the District Setup page. | ||
Use this option to export the Course Record section of the Ohio EMIS report. | ||
Use this to report staff assigned to courses. This report provides dates and teaching situations to include lead teacher and co-teaching situations. | ||
Use the report option to extract the CV records used to indicate the relationship between a career-technical anchor/lab/co-op class and up to two related classes. Prior to running this report option, you must define the Career-Technical Education Correlated Class records on the District Setup page. | ||
Use this report to generate grade schedule records for each building or entity, i.e. community school, STEM district, ESC. | ||
Use this report to generate organizational information required for specific reporting periods and specific district types. | ||
Use this to report information regarding tests administered by the district that are not state required assessments. | ||
Use this report to generate a student high school transcripts to US Colleges and Universities participating in the E-Transcript initiative. | ||
Use this option to report the results of Ohio’s State Assessment(s). | ||
Use this option to report students who are subject accelerated in the current fiscal year and/or taking accelerated assessments. | ||
Use this option to report at least one Student Attributes * Effective Date Record for each student reported in EMIS. | ||
(FE) Student Special Education Graduation Requirement Record | Use this option to export data identifying graduation tests exemption status for special education students. | |
Use this option to report at least one Student Contact Record for each student reported in EMIS. | ||
Use this option to report the Student Contact Address Record for each student contact record reported in EMIS. | ||
Report one Student Attributes – No Date Record per reporting period for each student reported in EMIS. For the Graduation (G) reporting period, report one Student Attributes – No Date Record for each student that attended and graduated from your district any time between the first day of the just completed school year and the day before the first day of the next school year. Note that in some reporting periods, very little data is reported on this record, as most elements are not included in all reporting periods. | ||
(FS) Student Standing Record - Hours (HB410) | Use this option to export the Student Standing data elements that describe the standing of a student within the district reporting that student. This record also describes situations in which the reporting district receives a student from another district and/or in which the reporting district sends a student to another district for the Yearend FY12N reporting period and beyond. | |
