(DN) Organization General Information Record

Introduction

The (DN) Organization General Information Record report is used to capture date driven planned and unplanned events such as, professional development days, parent-teacher conferences, calamity days, days shortened and other building/district level information. An (DN) Organization General Information Record will be required in specific reporting periods for specific district types. The DN instructions are organized by groupings of related elements. Note that some Attribute Names/Groups are only reported at the district level while the majority is reported at a building level.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. For the (DN) - Organization General Information Recordreport school and district records are selected.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

  • All schools located in the Schools Table are extracted unless the school is excluded from state reporting, or is excluded from the DN report on the Edit School page.

There are numerous tables where information is contained.  For the (DN) - Organization General Information Record report the data are contained in these tables.

Field

Description

Schools for which to run?

If run at the district level, choose one of the following:

  • Select Multiple Schools – Select schools to include in the report. To select a single school, click that school. To select multiple schools, use Ctrl+Click and select each school to be included. Select schools to include in the report
  • All Schools – Run the report for the entire district.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

Reporting Period

Select the reporting period for which you are creating the extract – (C) Calendar or (S) Student

Fiscal Year

Enter the fiscal year for the report.

School Type:

Select the school type for the report.

Reporting Window

Select the reporting window for the report.

Scheduling

Run Now

Select this option to execute the report in the order it is received in the report queue.

Schedule (available Version 7.1.1.)

Enter the start date and start time for the report.

  • Select Run Once and Submit to run the report at the specified date and time.
  • Select Repeat to set future dates (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) and Submit.
