(FB) Student Acceleration Record

Introduction

The report will export the (FB) Student Acceleration Record section of the OH EMIS report. This report includes all students who have been subject accelerated in the current fiscal year or students taking accelerated assessments.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. For the Student Acceleration Record, student records are selected.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

The school must be associated with a student included in the report.

Student Selection

The student is not excluded from state reporting (State/Province-OH > Home Tab > State_ExcludeEnrollment).
Students are selected where an FB record exists for the current fiscal year. If an FB record exists for the current fiscal year, only subject areas where a value exists for either Accelerated Level Count or Accelerated Assessment Flag is set to “YES” will be included in the report.

Report Setup

To set up PowerSchool for this report:

Navigate to Start Page > Student Selection > State/Province – OH to identify the subjects in which a student is accelerated and/or is taking accelerated assessments in one or more subject areas.

The report input is done in Incident Management with the codes and subcodes used in IM.

Field	Description
Schools for which to run?	Choose one of the following from the pop-up menu: Select Multiple Schools – Includes all student contact records associated with the school(s) that meet the selection criteria. All Schools (default) – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria.
Current Selection Students	Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options: The Selected [number] Students Only – Run the report for students in the current selection. All Students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria. Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.
Reporting Period	The report is only required for the Students(S) reporting period. The reporting period is defaulted to Students(S).
Fiscal Year	Enter the fiscal year for the report.
Scheduling
Run Now	Select this option to execute the report in the order it is received in the report queue.
Schedule (available Version 7.1.1.)	Enter the start date and start time for the report. Select Run Once and Submit to run the report at the specified date and time. Select Repeat to set future dates (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) and Submit.

Report Output

FB080	Accelerated Assessment Flag	This field contains the Y or N value as determined by the Accelerated Assessment Flag field for each subject area code on the FB tab from the Start Page > Student Selection > Ohio State Information. If the Yes radio button is checked the value “Y” will be in the report. If the radio button is not checked, the value “N” will be in the report.
