Special Program (Export)

Use

If run at the district level, choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:

• Default – District Wide. Includes all records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.
• Current School Only – Includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria.
• District Wide – Includes all records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

Processing Options

Choose a time to run the report from the pop-up menu:

• In Background Now (Recommended) – Execute the report immediately in the background.
• ASAP – Execute the report in the order it is received in the Report Queue.
• At Night – Execute the report during the next evening.
• On Weekend – Execute the report during the next weekend.
• On Specific Time – Execute the report on the date and time specified.

Specific Date/Time

Enter a date using the format mm/dd/yyyy or use the date picker icon in order to run the report on a specific day. The incorrect format displays an alert and the date field is submitted as a blank entry.

Use the pop-up menus to schedule the report to be run at a specific hour and minute.

Example: 7/29/2008 @ 10:05 AM.

Special Programs

Select each special program you want to include in the export file. Select [DO NOT FILTER] to include all special programs that meet the other filter criteria in the export file.

Date Type

Select each data type you want to include in the export file. Select [DO NOT FILTER] to include all data types that meet the other filter criteria in the export file.

Event Date

Enter one of the following Event Date range combinations:

• Enter only an initial date (leave the end date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Event Date on or after the date entered.
• Enter only the end date (leave the initial date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Event Date on or prior to the date entered
• Enter both an initial date and end date to include only records in the extract with an Event Date that occurred during the entered date range.
• Leave both dates blank to not limit the records to any specific Event Date.

Exit Date

Enter one of the following Exit Date range combinations:

• Enter only an initial date (leave the end date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Exit Date on or after the date entered.
• Enter only the end date (leave the initial date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Exit Date on or prior to the date entered.
• Enter both an initial date and end date to include only records in the extract with an Exit Date that occurred during the entered date range.
• Leave both dates blank to not limit the records to any specific Exit Date.

Outcome ID

Enter one or more outcome IDs to extract only the records with matching outcome IDs.

Outcome Begin Date

Enter one of the following Outcome Begin Date range combinations:

• Enter only an initial date (leave the end date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Outcome Begin Date on or after the date entered.
• Enter only the end date (leave the initial date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Outcome Begin Date on or prior to the date entered.
• Enter both an initial date and end date to include only records in the extract with an Outcome Begin Date that occurred during the entered date range.
• Leave both dates blank to not limit the records to any specific Outcome Begin Date.

Outcome End Date

Enter one of the following Outcome End Date range combinations:

• Enter only an initial date (leave the end date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Outcome End Date on or after the date entered.
• Enter only the end date (leave the initial date blank) to include only records in the extract with an Outcome End Date on or prior to the date entered.
• Enter both an initial date and end date to include only records in the extract with an Outcome End Date that occurred during the entered date range.
• Leave both dates blank to not limit the records to any specific Outcome End Date.

Comma Delimited List of School ID Numbers (Overrides Use District/Current School Dropdown)

Enter a comma-delimited list of School Numbers (e.g., 1000,2000,3000) to override the Use District/Current School option.

Leave this field blank to use the Use District/Current School option to determine the records included in the extract.
