Industry Credential codes 185 - 208 have been added to the CTE Student Industry Credentials data entry page.

NOVA - Contacts Update

The Publish All Records button, on a student’s Publishing page, will no longer delete a student’s contact records when used.

NOVA - Enhanced Error Messaging

When publishing data through the Ed-Fi Framework, PowerSchool will now clearly flag records if something goes wrong during the staging process behind the scenes.

Previously, if a backend staging error occurred, some records could still appear as successfully published, even though newer data was not actually included.

With this update:

• If a backend error occurs in the NOVA specific logic, while preparing data to publish, all affected records for that dashboard and data type will automatically move into an Error state.

• These records will no longer continue to publish using outdated, cached information.

• Users can review details in the Diagnostic Viewer and work with support to resolve the issue.

NOVA - StudentAcademicRecord Update

The logic in the StudentAcademicRecord has been updated and will now publish the TermDesciptor value correctly, based on the Reporting term mapping, which will allow for non-standard term abbreviations.

The Student SchoolAttendance logic has been updated and will now correctly determine a student’s present or absent amount, based on the attendance conversion configuration.

Special Education Caseload Manager Data Validation Report Updates

Special Education Caseload Manager Data Validation Report: Version 1.8

The Special Education Caseload Manager Data Validation Report has received the following updates:

• All dates will now be reported in the MM-DD-YYYY format

• When the report is run from the school level, only students in that school will be returned.

• If a student in the report output doesn’t have an active IEP record on the user defined Reporting Date, all data element where the source is the S_NM_STU_IEP_C child table, will return the following message:

  • ‘No Active IEP record’

• The following elements have been added to the report output:

  • Sped Start Date

    • Source field: Special Ed Start Date

  • Sped Exit Date

    • Source Field: EXIT INFO ONLY: Date Exited
