1. UI Enhancement – Term Field Reminder:

   • A prominent message is now displayed in the June Student Discipline Report interface:
     “Please ensure the Term is set to the current school year to generate accurate results.”

   • The report now excludes actions not associated with the offender, improving data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.

Uniq-ID State ID Request File – Pre-Registered Student Exclusion

Uniq-ID State ID Request File: Version 3.6

The Uniq-ID State ID Request File is updated to exclude students that have a pre-registered enrollment status. Additionally, the grade level logic is updated to correctly convert the Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten student grade levels.

Virtual Attendance Calculation Enhancement

PowerSchool now supports daily-level rounding or truncation of virtual attendance minutes before converting to hours, ensuring accurate cumulative totals for SEA reporting.

Key Enhancements:

• Daily Processing Logic:

  • Virtual attendance minutes are summed per day, then rounded or truncated based on district preference.

  • Converted to hours with 4 decimal precisions.

  • Final total is the sum of daily converted hours, not a rounded total of all minutes.

• Preference-Based Behavior:

  • Uses the setting from:
    Start Page, School, Attendance Preferences
    Options: Round or Truncate

• Scope:

  • Applies only to virtual attendance records.

  • Ensures alignment with DESE’s expected values and eliminates XSD discrepancies.
