Enhancements to Lunch Classifications Page

The following minor enhancements have been made to the Lunch Classifications page, aligning it with improvements previously introduced on the Non-Lunch Classifications page:

• A visual loading bar has been added to prevent users from interacting with form fields until the page has fully loaded.

• Users now remain on the same page after submitting changes. A confirmation message, “The changes have been recorded.”, appears at the top of the page and automatically disappears after 3 seconds. This enhancement has eliminated the need for redirection to a separate confirmation page, streamlining the user experience.

All new Student Classification Codes for the 2025–2026 school year have been added to the Student Classification Search Popup. These codes are listed below for reference:

• (SN) SNAP Recipient

• (TO) TANF Recipient

• (SPD12) SPED Instructional Grades for Students Aged 18 to 22

• X – Free Lunch by Application

• Y – Reduced Lunch by Application

• (JDC18) JDC Out-of-State

Ed-Fi : Deactivation of studentDisciplineIncidentAssociations Resource in Discipline Category

The studentDisciplineIncidentAssociations resource has been made inactive in SIS. The system no longer attempts to publish this resource to the state ODS, as it has been deprecated in the newer version of the Ed-Fi API currently used by TN.

Ed-Fi Enhancement: “Publish Selection” Now Available for Attendance Resource

The “Publish Selection” option has been introduced to the Attendance resource publishing, allowing users to publish data for selected students within this category.

This enhancement builds on the feature originally released in SR_25.7.3.0, which added Publish Selection support for other Student resource categories: Student Identification, Enrollments and Demographics, Student Sections, Student Programs, Cohort Groups and Discipline.

This feature has added flexibility by allowing districts to publish data for a specific set of students, rather than for all students. When updates are made for only a subset of students, districts no longer need to wait for the entire resource category to publish. Instead, they can run publishing for just the selected students, saving time and improving efficiency.

Note: To use this feature, select one or more students from the Home page, then navigate to the Data Exchange Dashboard. Click Run Now or Schedule for a student resource category, and from the publishing options that appear, select Publish Selection.
