Store Credits Earned and GPA

Introduction

This function will store the Credits Earned and GPAs required for the i4see Credits and GPA Submission. It will use the standard GPA Calculation Methods used in PowerSchool. In the event you do not have an existing GPA Calculation Method for each of the 4 items collected by the i4see Credits and GPA Submission (listed below) you will need to create any needed GPA Calculation Method(s).

If you are unfamiliar with creating GPA Calculation Methods refer to Knowledgebase article 429 – Calculations.

Selection Criteria

  • The Student School ID must be in the selected schools to run
  • The Student Entry Date must be on or before the Student Enrollment End Date entered.
  • The Student Exit Date must be after the Student Enrollment End Date entered.
  • The Students Grade must be in the range of 9-12 or be in the Min Grade and Max Grade range specified at run time.
  • Student cannot be set to be excluded from State Reporting.
  • A GPA Calculation Method for Credits Earned for the current year must be defined in the District Office > District > GPA Calculations > Calculation Methods.
  • A GPA Calculation Method for Cumulative Credits Earned must be defined in the District Office > District > GPA Calculations > Calculation Methods.
  • A GPA Calculation Method for End of Year GPA must be defined in the District Office > District > GPA Calculations > Calculation Methods.
  • A GPA Calculation Method for Cumulative GPA must be defined in the District Office > District > GPA Calculations > Calculation Methods.

Description

Student Enrollment Start Date

Enter the first date in the date range for this report.

Student Enrollment End Date

Enter the last date in the date range for this report.

Credits Earned (this year)

Select the GPA Calculation Method that represents Credits Earned (this year)

Cumulative Credits Earned

Select the GPA Calculation Method that represents Cumulative Credits Earned

End of Year GPA

Select the GPA Calculation Method that represents End of Year GPA

Cumulative GPA

Select the GPA Calculation Method that represents Cumulative GPA

Min Grade

Enter the Minimum Grade of students to be included from the range of 9 -12.

Max Grade

Enter the Maximum Grade of students to be included from the range of 9 -12.
