Reconciliation Data

The Reconciliation Data page displays a list of school records that exist in the state ODS but do not correspond to data published within PowerSchool.

Follow the steps below to view and resolve discrepancies for available resources.

1. Click the School link at the top right of the page and select the District Office
2. On the Start Page, click System under Setup in the main menu. The System Administrator page appears.
3. Click Data Reconciliation under Data Exchange. The Reconciliation Data page appears.
4. Select the Profile for the current reporting year.
5. Select the Organization. This field contains the district and schools that have discrepancies. It is only populated if there are discrepancies between the state ODS and PowerSchool.
6. Select the Resource. This field contains the resources that have discrepancies. It is only populated if there are discrepancies between the state ODS and PowerSchool.

Note: If there are no discrepancies, then the values for the Organization and Resource fields will contain [NO DATA FOUND].

Resolve Discrepancies

Organization and Resource fields operate independently. For each organization, select the resources. If the organization and resource has discrepancies, the results will appear. If no results appear, then there are no discrepancies for the organization and resource.

1. Click the Resource name to view the record details. The Details popup appears.
2. Select the checkbox next to the records you want to delete from the state ODS and click Delete Selected, or click Delete All to delete all records with dependencies for the organization and resource from the state ODS.

Important Note: Records submitted to AzEDS by other systems for school entities in your district may show up as discrepancies. For instance, if you use another system to report Program (Needs) data to AzEDS. Only submit deletes for records that PowerSchool publishes to AzEDS.

Resolve Discrepancies by Student

Reconciliation data can also be viewed and resolved for individual students. Follow the steps below to view and resolve discrepancies for an individual student:

1. Select the student.
2. Click State/Province – AZ. The Arizona State Information page appears.
3. Click AzEDS Publishing. The Ed-Fi Student Publish Status appears.
4. Select the Reconciliation Data tab. The reconciliation data for the student will appear. If no results appear, then there are no discrepancies for the student.
   1. Click the Resource name to view the record details. The Details popup appears.
   2. Click the Delete icon next to the record you want to delete from the state ODS. A Delete Confirmation pop-up appears.
   3. Click Proceed to delete the record for the state ODS.

Resolve Discrepancies by Staff

Reconciliation data can also be viewed and resolved for individual staff members. Follow the steps below to view and resolve discrepancies for an individual staff member:

1. Select the staff member.
2. Click Information. The staff Information page appears.
3. In the AzEDS Publishing field, under Arizona State Information, click HERE to edit, publish, or delete Ed-Fi data. The Ed-Fi Staff Publish Status page appears.
4. Select the Reconciliation Data tab. The reconciliation data for the staff member will appear. If no results appear, then there are no discrepancies for the staff member.
   1. Click the Resource name to view the record details. The Details popup appears.
   2. Click the Delete icon next to the record you want to delete from the state ODS. A Delete Confirmation pop-up appears.
   3. Click Proceed to delete the record for the state ODS.
