  • New Reporting Indicators: Added the RSTS-1 section to track Mechanical Restraint, Physical Restraint, and Seclusion indicators for LEA students served in non-LEA facilities, ensuring compliance with new federal requirements.

Ed-Fi Framework: Fixed Missing School Enrollment Records in ODS After Student Transfer and Re-Enrollment

Resolved an issue where a student's school enrollment record was incorrectly deleted from the Ed-Fi ODS after the student transferred out and re-enrolled.

PSSR-411691

Ed-Fi Framework: Optimized Student Publishing Selection

When publishing Ed-Fi data for selected students, the system now processes only the specific schools where those students have an active enrollment, re-enrollment, or course schedule record for the current school year. Previously, student selection requests evaluated all schools within the district regardless of enrollment status. This update eliminates unnecessary background processing and significantly improves publishing speed and efficiency.

PSSR-388887

Ed-Fi Framework: Publish All Staff Records

District administrators can now publish all eligible staff data - including previously unpublished records directly from the staff publishing page.

Publish All Records: A new Publish All Records button is available on the Staff > Data Exchange > Publishing page alongside the existing Republish Records option. Selecting this option submits all eligible data across all enabled Ed-Fi resources for the selected staff member, capturing both new/unpublished records and existing entries.

PSSR-449716

Ed-Fi Framework: Publishing Dependency Updates

School publishing now automatically waits for the associated LEA publish to complete in Ed-Fi, preventing concurrent publishing errors.

PSSR-450753

Ed-Fi Framework: Updates to Org Id Format

Updated the Ed-Fi Self Service publishing process so that localEducationAgencyId, schoolId, and educationOrganizationId are formatted as numeric values rather than text strings. Any leading zeroes are now automatically stripped prior to publishing.

PSSR-452040

Vermont Ed-Fi: Staff Associations Category Reconciliation Enhancement

The Ed-Fi reconciliation feature for Staff Associations has been enhanced further to identify and fetch orphaned records published with either a school ID or a district ID as the Education Organization ID.

PSSR-446340

Ed-Fi: Resolved Invalid School ID Dependency for Transcripts Resource Category

Previously, transcript records associated with courses marked with the "Exclude from Ed-Fi" setting were placed into an "Invalid School ID" dependency in Data Exchange because the parent Course Offering was excluded from publishing. This issue has been resolved. The transcript publishing logic now properly excludes courses configured to be excluded from Ed-Fi, preventing dependency errors.

Note - Districts must republish the Transcripts Ed-Fi resource category in Data Exchange.

PSSR-430308

Ed-Fi: Resolved Missing Dependency Details on Ed-Fi Dashboard

Previously, the Ed-Fi Data Exchange dashboard could show a dependency count under Student Discipline without displaying the corresponding detail records in the Review Dependencies view. This issue has been resolved. The underlying queries have been updated to ensure dependency counts and detail listings align consistently.

Note - Districts experiencing dependency count discrepancies should republish the Discipline Ed-Fi resource category.

Ed-Fi: Staff Sections Publishing for Courses Excluded from Storing Grades

The Vermont Ed-Fi publishing logic has been updated to ensure Staff Section records publish successfully for courses or sections marked with "Exclude from Storing Final Grades." The stored grades exclusion flag will no longer block Staff Section associations from being processed and published via Ed-Fi.

Note - Districts must republish the Staff Section Ed-Fi resource category for these changes to take effect.
