Vermont Ed-Fi now supports Publish Selection for additional non on-demand student data, including Sections, Programs, and Discipline. This allows administrators to publish data for a targeted group of students instead of running a full school or district publish, reducing processing time and improving overall job performance.

Ed-Fi Program Participation Dates Aligned with Enrollment Dates

Vermont Ed-Fi program participation begin and end dates now align to each student’s actual enrollment dates at the school, rather than defaulting to the school year start and end dates. This provides more accurate program participation reporting and helps avoid overstating a student’s participation period.

Ed-Fi Staff Association Errors Fix

Corrected the Staff Assignment's employment association reference to use the school-level education organization ID, matching the key of the corresponding Staff Employment Association record. This ensures the error “The referenced 'StaffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociation' item does not exist” resolves correctly in the ODS.

Note: Districts need to run a Publish All for the Staff Associations Category for these changes to reflect.

Ed-Fi: Resolved orphan Staff Employment records remaining in ODS after org ID sourcing change

Fixed an issue where previously published Staff Employment records remained as orphan records in the ODS after the org ID sourcing update in SR_26.7.2.0. The reconciliation logic has been reverted to retrieve data based on LEAOrgID instead of SchoolOrgID, enabling users to initiate reconciliation, view all associated records, and delete the invalid orphan entries from the ODS.

Note: Districts will need to run the Reconciliation process for Staff Associations after the update, and delete all orphan records from the UI.

Ed-Fi: Student School Exit Date Publishing Fix for End-of-Year Transfers

Fixed an issue where the student school exit date was not published in the Student Enrollments Ed-Fi resource, for students who transferred out at the end of the school year (exit date greater than term end date). The system now publishes the School Term End Date as the exit withdraw date in Student Enrollment’s resource when the student's exit date exceeds the term end date, provided a valid exit code with code set mapping is present.

Note: Districts will have to republish the Student Enrollment Resource for the changes to reflect.
