Ed-Fi: StudentContactAssociation Resource Logic Update for Head of Household |
We have added a Head of Household (HOH) override flag on the student contacts page to help ensure only one contact per student is published to the State ODS via Ed‑Fi. If an override exists, the first flagged contact is published; otherwise, the first listed contact is used if no contact is flagged.

Ed-Fi Contact Resource Logic Update for Head of Household |
The Ed-Fi Contact Resource logic has been updated to publish exactly one parent contact: the Head of Household. If any contact has the Head of Household override flag, publish the first such contact by display order; otherwise publish the first contact by order. Note: To publish this correctly to the state ODS, please perform a ‘Publish Changes’ on the Students Contacts category. This will send delete records to the state ODS for all previously published contacts, except the Contact identified in the HOH logic. There is no need to disable the Student Contacts in the Data Exchange Organization Resource menu. |
