Resolved an issue where the Change History link for the Student Programs category would not enable unless another category was also selected. The link now correctly activates immediately upon enabling the Student Programs category.

All States: CRDC 25-26 Sub District UI Update

The Sub-District compliance page has been updated for the 2025–2026 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) cycle.

• Streamlined data collection: Removed outdated NB-1 questions and moved Gender Identity sub-questions for HIBD-4, HIBD-5, and HIBD-6 to the Deprecated Fields section to keep historical records and simplify current reporting.

• New reporting indicators: Added the RSTS-1 section to track mechanical restraint, physical restraint, and seclusion for LEA students served in non-LEA facilities to meet new federal requirements.

Ed-Fi Assessment Rostering for SC-ALT

Ed-Fi Assessment Rostering for the South Carolina Alternate Assessment (SC-ALT) has been updated to align with SCDE specifications.

Key changes and updates:

• Mapping updates (testedEducationOrganizationId): Standardized formatting for the tested education organization identifier to ensure a consistent combination of District ID and zero-padded 3-digit School ID.

• Exclusion criteria refinement: Removed the student exclusion rule for records where S_SC_STU_X.NinthGradeCode is null, allowing all eligible students to be rostered for SC-ALT.

• Enrollment date validation: Aligned rostering logic to validate student course enrollments within active term date ranges (CC.DateEnrolled through CC.DateLeft) for qualifying courses.

Ed-Fi: Inactive Student Publishing - Assessments Resource Category

South Carolina's Ed-Fi implementation for publishing data for students who are inactive in the current school year but were active in prior years has been updated to publish Assessment and Student Assessment resources, in addition to previously supported resources such as Student Identification, Enrollment, and Transcript records. The system will evaluate historical data for students without current-year enrollments by searching up to five years before the selected school year. As with other resources, an inactive student will be considered for publishing only if the student does not have a current-year enrollment and is not excluded from Ed-Fi publishing. This change helps ensure historical assessment data for eligible inactive students is included in Ed-Fi reporting.

District Action Required:
South Carolina districts reporting historical assessment data for inactive students must ensure the student is not excluded from Ed-Fi publishing and republish the Assessments and Student Assessments resource categories in Data Exchange to publish the additional historical assessment records.

Ed-Fi: State/Province Page BOY Publishing Flag Updates

The South Carolina State/Province student page has been updated for 2026-2027 Beginning of Year (BOY) reporting. The Exclude this student from Ed-Fi Publishing setting has been renamed to Ed-Fi Publishing and now includes the options Publish to Ed-Fi (default) and Remove/Do Not Publish.

Note: This is a user interface update only. No functional changes have been introduced to Ed-Fi publishing.
