All States: Change history for Student Programs

Change History functionality is now available on the Student Programs page, enabling tracking of updates to key fields.

A new category has been added to the Student Program Change History page to monitor changes to Entry Date, Exit Date, SP Comment, Program, Exit Reason, and Grade Level.

Note: This functionality is not applicable to the State-specific Student Program pages.

The NCEA data collection has received the following updates to conform to the 26-27 specifications.
Updated Screens

• School Management → Academics → School Information for NCEA Reporting

• District Management → District Setup → General → District Information for NCEA Reporting

Following New Fields has been added

• Building Type (Added for School Information data collection)

  • Early Childhood Center

  • Elementary

  • Secondary

  • (P)K - 12

    Note: This field must be populated in order for that building to be represented in the report output. In addition to this new field, updates have been made to existing district-level data elements so they can be populated for each of the four Building Type values.

Ed-Fi: Duplicate Student Program Records for No-Show Students Fix

An issue has been resolved where no-show students enrolling in another school within the same district were generating duplicate Student Program records with identical start dates and Resource IDs. The update ensures that only the valid program record for the active enrollment is published and no program records are published for the no-show enrollment.

Ed-Fi: Improved Course Transcript Publishing to Prevent Duplicate Records

The CourseTranscript publishing process has been updated to prevent duplicate records during publishing, which previously resulted in errors (ORA‑00001: unique constraint violation).

SCDE Update : Enhancement Added - Partial Transcript Publishing Options

New options have been introduced in the Ed‑Fi Transcript publishing dropdown for South Carolina, allowing districts to publish transcript data by coursework level instead of processing all records at once. Districts can now publish only High School coursework (course codes starting with 3 or higher) or only Elementary/Middle coursework (course codes starting below 3), improving flexibility and performance for targeted updates.

To prevent unintended data loss, these partial publish options do not process deletes in the Ed‑Fi ODS; delete operations continue to be handled only by Publish All and Publish Changes. This ensures that publishing one coursework group does not impact records from the other group. No action is required, and districts can begin using these options as needed.
