Ed-Fi: VOC 2 EFA Primary Value Changes

The VOC 2 - Vocational Second Semester option is now disabled from the EFA Primary drop-down list for the S_SC_STU_EFA_History_C.efa_primary field for the 2026-2027 school year.

Read-Only Access Restored for Enrollment State Reporting Fields

An issue has been resolved where certain SC Ed-Fi state reporting fields were not visible to users with read-only access on the Current Enrollment and Previous Enrollment pages. Applicable fields, including School of Residence and Exclude from Ed-Fi, are now displayed as expected for users with read-only permissions, improving visibility into enrollment and state reporting information while maintaining existing security controls.

SCDE Update - School of Residence Added to Student Enrollment Pages

A new, School of Residence drop-down list has been added to the following student enrollment pages to improve visibility and streamline student enrollment management:

• Create New Enrollment

• Re-enroll in School

• Current Enrollment

• Previous Enrollment

• New Student Enrollment (School Level)

When a District of Residence is selected, the School of Residence dropdown is automatically populated with the schools associated with the selected district, making it easier to select the appropriate school during enrollment.

The following Staff Classification options have been added to the Staff Assignments page to provide districts with additional flexibility when categorizing staff assignments:

• Classroom Instructional

• Classroom Non-Instructional

• School Instructional

• District Non-Instructional

State Student Information Page Changes

Removed the School of Residence field from the South Carolina Student Information page. The Advance Placement ID and G&T Qualified fields have also been repositioned to align with the updated page layout.

Student State WBL Page Changes

South Carolina Student Work-Based Learning (WBL) page has been updated with the following changes:

• The WBL Career Cluster Type fields now use the updated SCDE career cluster values.

• WBL Experience 1–20 Career Cluster Type fields are required with updated validation and required-field indicators.

• Date entry for WBL date fields has also been improved so users can confirm selected dates and avoid unintended date values.
