DEX Performance Improvement

Resolved a performance issue with the Language Descriptor query used by the Data Exchange (DEX) > Code Set mapping page. Previously, the query scanned all students in the student extension table to build the list of available languages, which caused significant delays for large districts. This change reduces unnecessary database load and improves responsiveness on the Language Descriptor mapping without altering reported language values.

DEX: Student Contact Resource Update

The Student Contact Resource is updated to publish international addresses under its own JSON structure.

The update introduces a conditional check based on country.

  • If the country is the United States, publish the contact’s address under the standard address structure.

  • If the country is not the United States, publish the contact’s address under the internationalAddress structure.

Ed-Fi Framework: New Publish Selection Option for Staff

Added a Publish Selection option for all staff resources on the DEX Dashboard, consistent with the existing student Publish Selection feature. Users can now choose a subset of staff on the start page and run a publish that only processes the selected staff records.

Ed-Fi Framework: Preserve Quotes in Authentication Key and Secret

Resolved an issue where the Ed-Fi Authentication Key and Secret fields incorrectly converted single and double quotes to HTML entities when saved. This caused connection tests to fail. The fields now retain quote characters exactly as entered so authentication continues to work as expected after saving.

Ed‑Fi Framework: Performance Update - Optimized Downloads Automap Process

The Ed‑Fi Framework downloads processor has been updated to prevent excessive execution of the descriptor usage queries during automapping. Automap now runs at the resource level only when descriptors are actually processed, instead of for all resources on every scheduler run.
