Ed-Fi Framework: Resolved Incorrect 403 Error Issue

Ed-Fi school related records, such as calendars and schedules, now show as Error instead of Published when the Ed-Fi ODS rejects them.

Note: This fix only affects records published after the latest update. Records already marked as Published before the update will stay on the Published dashboard.

Fixed an issue where district level Staff Contact records failed to publish during Publish Selection. District staff contact records now publish as expected alongside school associations.

Incident Management - Participant Attribute - 7 Factors Update

To prevent users from selecting more than one option for codes when using templates, the following Participant Attributes have had their Display Type changed from Check Box to Select:

• F1: Student possesses a firearm on school property

• F2: Student has a disciplinary history

• F3: Current misconduct is similar to past misconduct

• F4: Student is a student with a disability

• F5: Misconduct threatens the safety of students or staff

• F6: Restorative practice was used to address misconduct

• F7: Intervention other than suspension or expulsion was used to address misconduct

PSSR-452627

MI Lunch Status Override - Update

The MI Lunch Status Override field dropdown now includes:

• (1) Eligible for free-meal/milk program

• (2) Eligible for reduced-price meal program

Note: These values are added to assist districts applying the 30-day rule for the Fall General Collection. As this is a static student field, ensure records are either updated for each subsequent reporting cycle or cleared after the Fall General Collection submission.

MiDataHub: Section Attendance Taken Events Publishing Update

Resolved a 409 Conflict error ("The referenced 'Staff' item does not exist") encountered when publishing section attendance records to the Michigan Data Hub. The attendance publishing has been updated so that SECTIONATTENDANCETAKENEVENTS references the teacher's state Personnel Identification Code (PIC) instead of an internal system ID, allowing attendance data to publish successfully.

MiDataHub: Snack Pack Request Update

When navigating to Compliance > Snack Pack on a student record and selecting Request Snack Pack, the request would not initiate or return records if the district had migrated to the latest Ed-Fi profile version.
The Snack Pack request feature has been updated to support the latest Michigan Ed-Fi profile (EDFI_MI_7). Users can now successfully request and retrieve Snack Pack data for students via MiDataHub as expected.

The MI Snack Pack is a pass-through service that uses the same connection credentials required for the MiDataHub.

Official Enrollment Student Roster: Version 3.4

Updates are made to the report to add the PowerSchool Student Number and Exit Status.

Student Validation Fixes

The following student state reporting validations are updated:

• Special Ed Instructor — Blank or invalid validation: A defect caused this validation to trigger when the Instructor field contained a valid value. The validation logic is corrected and no longer produces a false error.

• Primary/Home Language Validation: Removed the validation that warned Primary Language and Home Language cannot match. Upon review of the MSDS Manual Home Language Tips, this restriction was determined to be a misinterpretation of the specification.

• Early Childhood CEPI Validations: Removed validation warnings for Additional Eligibility Factors, which are no longer reported and have moved to the Non-Reported tab on the Early Childhood Program page.
