In addition to the CDC rules that are available via the PS Rules Engine for all PS users, PA users have access to State Specific rules for vaccinations where the PA Department of Health has issued modified requirements for a particular vaccine or immunization schedule to meet state guidelines for student enrollment. The list of Rules Engine options for PA are listed below and should be applied for Immunization compliance using the same process for applying CDC rules.
MCV: Select the PA MCV rule for Meningococcal to assess whether a student is non-compliant if they are in grade 7 or higher and do not have 1 dose. Assess whether a student is non-compliant if they are in grade 12 and only has 1 dose; Students passing both assessments are considered compliant.
Tdap: Select the PA Tdap rule to assess whether a student is non-compliant if they are in grade 7 or higher and do not have 1 dose.
Varicella: Select the PA Varicella rule to assess whether a student is non-compliant if they are 4 years old or greater and only has 1 dose; Students are compliant if they have received 2 doses.
