State Reporting 21.3.2.0 Release Notes

The Snapshot reports are fixed now and the reports are running and showing the completed successfully status as expected.

The following updates have been made to the Learning Preferences functionality:

• Learning Preferences Code creation link is moved to District Setup page under the Code Sets link.
  • If a state has code sets disabled then the Learning Preferences Code creation link can be found at the last section under the Code Setup Header
• The Code Start Date & Code End Date are now editable.
• The Learning Preferences link at Student-Level is renamed Digital Equity & Learning Preferences.
• When creating a new record, field values from the last record with the greatest Effective Date carry forward if present.
  • Fields that copy to a new record:
    • Internet In Residence
    • Internet Access
    • Internet Performance
    • Device Access
    • Device Type
    • Device Serial number
    • Paper Learning Packets

• Access to the Digital Equity & Learning Preferences link, at the student level, is now governed by a check box in the "Edit Security Group" page (path below).
  Path: Start page> System> Groups>[ select group ]
  Upon receiving the update, administrators must go into security groups and give the appropriate groups access to this page.
  Note: This security group setting is suppressed for ND and TX.

Validation is added to the Course Enrollment page for the Course Code field to indicate if the course code entered/selected does not end in 990 and the Dual Credit indicator is set to Yes.

A field number is added for field labels used in the CTE Student Fact Template on the Student CTE tab.  The updated fields are as follows:

Also updated field POS Task List Completion Indicator to display as Task List Completion Indicator.

Student CTE Tab Update
Under certain situations, the CTE Tab is freezing up and causing high database CPU utilization. The query causing the page to freeze is updated to resolve the high database CPU utilization.

The logic for the identified page is updated to display and store the value that is selected for the state field, PA Primary Teacher.

The Load Codes/Subcodes script is updated. After running the Load Codes/Sub-Codes Script, the following items are updated to display as follows:
Behavior Sub-Code 50:
Subcode=> 50-POSSESSION, USE OR SALE OF TOBACCO^
Short Description=> 50-POSSESSION, USE OR SALE OF TOBACCO^
Full Description=> 50-POSSESSION, USE OR SALE OF TOBACCO^

The Student Special Education page (Start > Student Selection > Special Programs > Special Ed) is updated with the following label changes:
1. TRANS IEP (PAID WORK BASED LEARNING) -> TRANS IEP (COMP INT PAID WORK EXP)
2. TRANS IEP (JOB SUPPORTS/COACHING) -> TRANS IEP (JOB COACHING)
3. Help icon is added to fields that provide business rules indicating when a value is required.

Updated the labels on the student Special Ed Template Report to reflect the changes provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)

The logic for the field "School Number" is updated to consider if the field Building Override is populated.
