State Reporting 23.8.2.0 Release Notes | PowerSchool SIS Compliance

PSSR-324616	All States/Provinces: Minimum PowerSchool Version for State Reporting - 22.5.1.2	The minimum supported version of the PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 22.5.1.2 or later. For details refer to PowerSchool SIS – Supported PowerSchool Versions.
PSSR-320029	CRDC 2021-2022: Wi-Fi Usage Fields Update	Additional Reference: PSSR-320031 The INET section of the School CRDC page is updated. Data elements to identify the number of students who needed and received Wi-Fi enabled devices or hotspots are added. The new fields added are: Enter the number of students who needed Wi-Fi enabled devices from the school for virtual learning Enter the number of students who received Wi-Fi enabled devices from the school for virtual learning Enter the number of students who needed a Wi-Fi hotspot from the school for virtual learning Enter the number of students who received a Wi-Fi hotspot from the school for virtual learning The School 3 CSV File and School Audit Report are also updated to report these fields.
PSSR-326246	CRDC 2021-2022: COUR-1 to COUR-4 Questions Update to the School Audit and School PDF File	Additional Reference: PSSR-319868 The School Audit and the School PDF Files are updated. Grade 7 and 8 Algebra I Classes are now reported as a combined value instead of reporting them individually.
PSSR-320234	CRDC 2021-2022: Interscholastic Athletics Fields Update on School Audit File	The Interscholastic Athletics questions ATHL-1 and ATHL-2 of the School Audit file are updated. The new fields added are: Num Intersch Sports All Students Num Intersch Teams All Students Num Intersch Participants Non-Binary The fields removed are: Intersch Athletics Num Intersch Sports Total Num Intersch Teams Total Num Intersch Participants Total
PSSR-318618	CRDC 2021-2022: Data Groups By Non-Binary Sex Value on School 1 & 2 CSV files	Additional Reference: PSSR-320237, PSSR-320087 The 2021-2022 CRDC School Submission requires a third value of Non-Binary, identified with a gender value of 'X' for the many data categories that were disaggregated by Male and Female counts. The report is updated and these data categories now have a new column for Non-Binary (value of 'X') next to the 'Female’ column.
PSSR-325638	KIDS Collection Report Updates	Additional Reference: PSSR-325672, PSSR-326209 KIDS Collection ASGT: Version 2.0 KIDS Collection ENRL: Version 3.8 KIDS Collection EOYA: Version 2.5 KIDS Collection EXIT: Version 6.2 KIDS Collection MILT: Version 2.5 KIDS Collection TEST: Version 3.4 KIDS Collection SMSC: Version 2.1 KIDS Collection SPED: Version 2.1 The KIDS Collection reports are updated for the 2023-2024 school year, The following fields are extracted based on the student’s grade level: D39. K-12 Kansas At-Risk Program Participation field extracts for grade levels greater than or equal to 0. D58. Preschool-Aged At-Risk Program Participation field extracts for grade levels less than 0. D10. Grade Level field is updated to extract KG if the grade level is 0.
PSSR-323653	KIDS Collection KCAN Report Update	KIDS Collection KCAN: Version 3.0 The KIDS Collection KCAN report is updated for the 2023-2024 school year, In the header record, the report version is updated to 19. The Grade Level is updated to extract as follows: If the student’s grade level is 0 through 12, then extract it. If the student’s grade level is less than 0 or greater than 12, then check if the grade level override has IT, PR, or UG. If yes, extract it. If no, extract the student’s grade level. The Grade Level update is a breaking change. It is NOT backward compatible. Customers MUST complete all the 2022-2023 school year reporting before applying the 2023-2024 school year updates.
PSSR-322665	Performance Improvement: Student-related Data Entry Pages	Additional Reference: PSSR-322479 The Student Log Entry, Staff Compliance, Edit Enrollments, and School pages are updated to use the database extensions. Note: There is no change in page functionality. In addition, the Handicapped and Younger than seven years old field is moved from the Demographics tab to the Legacy tab under the Other Fields section.
