A significant cognitive disability field extension has been added to the MI Ed-Fi changes. This change enables Special Education Coordinators to identify students with significant cognitive disabilities for eligibility assessments and reporting. The extension includes a nullable boolean field, significantCognitiveDisability, within the studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociation._ext.MI extension. This field supports null values.
