Vaccine CVX Codes for VIIS

The PowerSchool SIS Health Module supports the use of Vaccine CVX Codes. CVX Codes when aligned to the proper vaccine helps to accurately identify a student’s immunization status. The VIIS Immunization download processes matches the CVX codes in VIIS with the CVX codes that are defined in PowerSchool SIS Health setup. To ensure that the downloaded immunization for the student is associated with the proper vaccine in PowerSchool, select all CVX codes that apply to a vaccine on the Immunizations setup tab. Note: There are no state specific Immunization settings required for the download process. All settings should follow local guidelines for student health data. Rule binding is a PowerSchool Health Module feature that supports the PowerSchool Health Module.
