SIF Reporting in Virginia is used to Request and Store Student State ID’s from the state using a third party vendor. The SIF Reporting section in this guide provides detailed information on the Data Elements required for using SIF for this data interchange. The information in this section is grouped by the District, School, and Student pages in PowerSchool for ease of use. The following information for each field that must be set up is provided:

Data Element name as it appears on the PowerSchool screen

Elements specific to a report may require fields to be pre-populated with the report-specific options as described in the Additional Information column of the table. Some of these items are configured during PowerSchool implementation. PowerSchool's online help system, PowerSchool Help, is also available to assist with the setup of the Data Elements.
