Overview
The Dual Language Program Export lists every Student Program Enrollment whose Oregon Program Type is Dual Language. Each record includes the Program Model Type Code and Partner Language values set up on the Program Setup screen.
Use this export to:
-
Review Dual Language program enrollments before you submit the Dual Language File
-
Check that Program Model Type Code and Partner Language are filled in on each student's enrollment
-
Check State Start Dates, District Start Dates and Program Exit Dates
Navigation
From the District Office, you can open the export from either of these menus:
-
Start Page > Data and Reporting > Exports > Dual Language Program Export
-
Start Page > Courses and Programs > Dual Language Program Export
Tip: Run the Dual Language Enrollment Check as well. It finds students whose Dual Language program enrollments don't match their Dual Language class enrollments.
Selection Criteria
A program enrollment is included in the export when all of these are true:
-
Dual Language program: The enrollment is for a special program with the Oregon Program Type Dual Language (
Gen.Cat = 'specprog'andGen.Value = 'DUAL'). -
Current school year: The enrollment's dates overlap the year term of the current school year (
Terms.IsYearRec = 1). -
District Start Date filter (optional): If you enter a date, the export keeps enrollments that exit on or after that date, plus enrollments with no exit date.
-
Program Exit Date filter (optional): If you enter a date, the export keeps enrollments that start on or before that date.
-
Students to Include: The export uses either your current student selection or all students.
If you leave both date filters blank, the export returns every Dual Language enrollment in the current term year. If you enter both dates, it returns enrollments whose program dates overlap the range.

Validation
-
Student appears in the results: Validate that the program's Oregon Program Type is Dual Language, the enrollment overlaps the current school year and selected date filters, and, when using The Selected n Students Only, the student is included in the current selection.
-
Program Model Type Code and Partner Language are populated: Validate that both values are set on the program in Program Setup. Then open the student's enrollment and save it again so the values are copied over.
-
State Start Date is populated: Validate that a State Start Date is entered on the student's enrollment. The export does not use the District Start Date as a substitute.
