The StaffSectionAssociation and SectionEducator resources are used to capture the relationship between educators and course section enrollment details for the TASC collection.

In Ed-Fi, If an educator lacks a valid Educator Identifier, such associations should be submitted to the SectionEducator resource, which records the educator’s email address, name, and section association.
A section association record for an educator with a valid Educator Identifier should not be submitted to the SectionEducator resource. Conversely, a section association with a staff member who does not have a valid Educator Identifier should not be submitted to the StaffSectionAssociation resource.
Selection Criteria

Sections must be published

The staff Unique Id (State Teacher Number) must be BLANK in PowerSchool.

The staff member is active at any point during the selected school year.

The teacher's school must not be excluded from state reporting.

The teacher's section must not be excluded from state reporting.

The sections are published to which a staff member is assigned.
