New - 2023-2024 CRDC Report - Please Read

CRDC Loader Report: Version 1.0.0
CRDC Report: Version: 1.0

A new CRDC report is now available for the 2023-2024 submission. It is important to note that this new CRDC report works differently than previous CRDC reports.

  • Changes:

    • New, standalone tables now exist for the CRDC data and are populated by the CRDC Loader report (outlined below). These tables are accessible in Data Export Manager (DEM) under Database Extensions and end users can see, query, and export the CRDC data without having to run the actual CRDC report.

    • New Tables:

      • S_CRDC_CLASSES_S

      • S_CRDC_CTRL_S

      • S_CRDC_LEA_S

      • S_CRDC_SCHOOLS_S

      • S_CRDC_STUDENTS_S

  • Logic for the following new, required elements has been added:

    • PSCH-2a: Preschool English Learner Indicator

    • PSCH-2b: Preschool English Learner Identification Indicator

    • PSCH-2c: Preschool Section 504 indicator

    • PSCH-2d: Preschool Section 504 Identification Indicator

    • DISC-1a: Preschool English Learner Indicator

    • DISC-1b: Preschool English Learner Identification Indicator

    • DISC-1c: Preschool Section 504 indicator

    • DISC-1d: Preschool Section 504 Identification Indicator

    • RSTR-1: Restraint or Seclusion

  • CRDC Loader Report

    • This report calculates the CRDC data and inserts it into the tables noted above. Due to this, this report must be run prior to running the new CRDC report.

      • Other important notes:

        • It is recommended that this report be scheduled to run on a regular basis (instructions can be found here) during the CRDC reporting time frame. This ensures that the CRDC tables contain up to date data.

          • How to schedule the CRDC Loader report to run automatically:

          • At the bottom of the Run Report page, select the Schedule radio button.

          • Designate the start date for the scheduled job, the time of day the report should run, and the frequency with which the report should run and hit submit.

        • The CRDC Loader report can also be run manually if needed.

        • The parameters and count dates that are specified when running this report will be the inherited parameters of the main CRDC report.

  • CRDC Report

    • This report is the actual CRDC report and will generate the pdf and csv files for CRDC submission. The report pulls the data (from the tables noted above) produced by the CRDC Loader report and returns it in the mandated formats. This report produces a zip file containing the following:

      • LEA File - pdf

      • School File(s) - pdf

      • LEA File - csv

      • School File - csv*

        • In previous years, the School csv output file was split into three separate csv files due to an old Excel limitation that no longer applies. Due to this, the entire School csv file will now be returned in a single csv file.

      • School Audit File - csv

      • Class Audit File - csv

      • Student Audit File - csv

  • Other important notes:

    • The CRDC Loader report must be run prior to running the CRDC report.

    • The CRDC report inherits the runtime parameters of the CRDC Loader report.

      • These parameters can be viewed by clicking the CRDC Config Data link on the Run Report page

      • If the parameters are incorrect, the CRDC Loader report must be run again with the correct parameters
