Daily Attendance: Version 1.9 Per RIDE, a new data element, MET_MINUTES_REQ, is added to indicate whether a student was present for at least half (50%) of the school day’s instructional minutes. To report this value correctly when students are absent, Tardy and Early Dismissal Attendance Codes are created as follows:
Note: The new Tardy and Early Dismissal codes have a W to indicate they will be codes used as absent for more than 50% of the day to meet the requirements of the new MET_MINUTES_REQ data element. Daily Attendance Code definitions are available on the Appendix page in the State Reporting Help. The Automated Data Transfer (ADT) script has been updated. |
