The Courses page has been updated with the following changes:

The Course Number and Course Name fields are now mandatory.
The Alternate Course Number field is now a smart list that displays the State course codes and names as you type.

PSSR-280003

Update Language List

In PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting 21.9.3.0, the options for Dominant Language, Language Spoken at Home, Language First Learned By Student, and EL Language Code were updated to a newer language list. However, this list affected the SIF schema validation and the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OK SDE) reverted the specifications to Z39.53 Language Codes list from the SIF 2.0r1 specification.

Therefore, the options for Dominant Language, Language Spoken at Home, Language First Learned By Student, and EL Language Code have been updated to match the Z39.53 Language Codes list from the SIF 2.0r1 specification.

The descriptions on certain codes may vary slightly since we merged the old descriptions with the new ones. A few examples:

before bla = Blackfoot/Siksika and now it is bla = Siksika (or Blackfoot)
before him = Himachali and now it is him = Himachali (Western Pahari languages)
before ltz = Luxembourgish and now it is ltz = Letzeburgesch (or Luxembourgish)
before pon = Pohnpeian and now it is pon = Ponape (or Pohnpeian)
