All States/Provinces: Minimum PowerSchool version for State Reporting - 25.3.0.1

The minimum supported version on the PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 25.3.0.1 or later. For details, refer to PowerSchool SIS – Supported PowerSchool Versions.

All States/Provinces: NCEA - 2025-26 NCEA Updates

The NCEA report and remaining data collection updates for the 2025-26 school year are now available. These include the following:

  • The Diagnosed Disability field on the Student Information for NCEA Reporting has been updated to a multi-select. Users will now be able to select multiple disabilities.

  • A new question has been added: Early childhood Education center (not directly affiliated with another school). This question is available on the School Information for NCEA Reporting page, and the field’s name is eccenter_tf.

  • NCEA Report Version - 25.9.3.0

    • The report now includes these 2 questions:

      • How many students are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race?

        • The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the student Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question.

        • The sum of the number of students fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output.

      • How many professional staff are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race?

        • The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the staff member Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question.

        • The sum of the number of staff fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output.

    • The Diocese and the School Summary reports include a new column called Multiple Diagnosed Disabilities in the CSV file and a new row in the PDF report output. The student will be counted if the student has more than one value in the Diagnosed Disability field.

    • The Diocese PDF file, line item including the Number of Schools with a board, commission or council by type has been updated to segregate the output based on Elementary and Secondary Schools.

All States/Provinces: Updates to the Attendance Change History Report

Attendance Change History Report - v1.4

The following updates are now available for the Attendance Change History Report:

  • The IP address parameter has been renamed to Enter IP Addresses, and it will accept multiple IP addresses.

  • Multiple IP addresses must be comma-separated.

  • The parameter is now a text box.

  • Report output now filters Grade Levels based on the specified start and end dates, instead of evaluating all grade levels.

  • The Select Period parameter will now show every period available for the selected school.

  • The Select Who modified parameter will now show every user available for the selected school.

  • The Selected Changed From/To Attendance Code Values parameters will now show up for every attendance code available for the school.

Discipline Incident Letter Report - v1.6

The following updates have been implemented for the Discipline Incident Letters:

  • The Discipline Incident Letter Report has been updated to include the Principal’s Signature in the report output. Districts will have the ability to upload the Principal’s Signature from the Incident Letter Template creation/edit page.

  • The Discipline Incident Letter Report will now include Board Policy Violations associated with the Behavior.

New County of Residence and updated Standard Achieved code

Report:
Assessment Fact Extract (SFTP): Version 3.19

  • Added new code 75 - Out of State to the County of Residence field on the Student Lite (Demographics) page.

  • Updated the description of standard achieved code 86 from COVID Exemption to Exemption. The Assessment Fact Extract (SFTP) report has been updated to fetch the new description of standard achieved code 86.

New Program Eligibility Codes Added

The following Program Eligibility Codes have been added to the Program Eligibility fields:

  • CEP/P2 Form – CEP/P2 Household Income Eligibility Form

  • DCMP – SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)/Medicaid plus extension

  • FDPIR – Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations

When selected in the UI, these codes will now appear in the Program Eligibility fields of the Program Fact report. Also, older codes which are no longer valid have been moved to the 'Do Not Use' section.

A new Standard Achieved Code has been added in the Assessment Fact report:

  • Code 86 – Exempt

Applicable Categories:

  • New York State Testing Program Assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics (Grades 3–8)

  • New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) for Students with Severe Disabilities

  • New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) and NYSESLAT Braille (Grades K–12)

  • New York State Science Test (Grades 5 & 8)
