All States: CRDC 25-26 LEA UI Update

The District/LEA compliance page has been updated for the 2025-2026 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) cycle.

• Streamlined Data Collection: Removed outdated questions (NB-1) and Gender Identity sub-questions for HIBD-4, HIBD-5, and HIBD-6, moving them to the Deprecated Fields section to maintain historical records while simplifying current reporting.

• New Reporting Indicators: Added the RSTS-1 section to track Mechanical Restraint, Physical Restraint, and Seclusion indicators for LEA students served in non-LEA facilities, ensuring compliance with new federal requirements.

The School compliance page has been updated for the 2025–2026 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) cycle.

• New reporting indicators: Added a Bilingual teacher certificate field to the Staff section to capture staff certified as bilingual, and introduced THRE-1 to record whether the school has a Threat Assessment Team.

• Instructional terminology updates: Renamed several "Directional Indicator" fields to Instruction to align with new CRDC standards:

  • "COVID-related Directional Indicators" is now INST: Instruction.

  • "Directional Indicator – Instruction Type" is now INST-1: Instruction Type (the 'D' option was removed).

  • "Directional Indicator - Remote Instruction" is now INST-2: Remote Instruction.

  • "Percentage of students who received remote instruction" is now INST-3: Remote Instruction Percentage.

  • Virtual instruction clarification: Updated SCHR-1 to ask if the school offered only remote instruction.

• Streamlined data collection: Deprecated these outdated questions and moved them to the Deprecated section:

  • ATHL-3: Count of non-binary student participants on teams.

  • DIND-3: Directional Indicator 3.

  • HIBS-1: Allegations of harassment or bullying based on gender identity.

Load Codes-Subcodes: Script Update for Infraction Codes

The PS Script to load new Codes/Subcodes is updated as follows:

• 51-CYBER HARRASSMENT OF A CHILD^ is discontinued as of 7/31/2026

• Added Behaviors > MISCONDUCT AGAINST A PERSON > 55-CYBERBULLYING^

• Added Behaviors > MISCONDUCT AGAINTS A PERSON > 57-UNLAWFUL DISSEMINATION OF INTIMATE IMAGE^

• Added Behaviors > SEXUAL OFFENSES > 56-SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN^

• Added Behaviors > MISCONDUCT AGAINST PROPERTY/SOCIETY > 58-DIGITAL FORGERY^

PA Staff and Student Field Updates for 2026–27

Updated PA staff and student data fields with new job description and assignment codes, revised Special Education Exit Reason and Graduation Status descriptions, and updated available values to align with 2026–27 PDE requirements.

PIMS Course Template Updates: 2026-27 UI Update

A new field, Primary Type Code (PrimaryTypeCode) is added at the course level in the Pennsylvania State Reporting section of the Edit Course page to support the 2026-2027 PIMS Course Template submission. This drop-down field is blank by default, with Y (Yes) and N (No) options. The field has a max character limit of 1 and is stored in the S_PA_CRS_X table.
