Ensure that student resources contain accurate student identification data. This error occurs when there is a mismatch between the data in the Student Information System (SIS) and the Department of Education (DOE).

To resolve this issue:

Access the Data Exchange Search from PowerSchool to verify if there is a mismatch. If there is a mismatch, correct the data. Starting the current school year, the DOE provides information from their side, and the message detail contains all the necessary information.

Note that the error message may vary from state to state.

This issue can also occur with staff records, referred to as Staff Demographics.
