Ed-Fi Assessment Rostering: SC-ALT Assessment Customization Updates

Ed-Fi assessment rostering data publishing for SC-ALT has been updated to support custom attending district/school mappings:

• Resource Updated: StudentAssessmentRegistration

• Change Details: When a value is populated in S_SC_STU_X.Other_AltAssessTest_SchoolID, the key-value pair AttendingDistrictSchool is now published within the AssessmentCustomization array.

• Validation: The school ID is published as entered without requiring active school or ODS reference resolution.

Ed-Fi Data Exchange – Publish Selection for Staff Resources

Added the Publish Selection option for Staff Resources (Staff Demographics, Staff Assignment, Staff Employment, and Staff School) on the Data Exchange dashboard, allowing users to publish Ed-Fi data for an active selection of staff.

Ed-Fi Framework: Resolved Incorrect 403 Error Issue

Ed-Fi school related records, such as calendars and schedules, now show as Error instead of Published when the Ed-Fi ODS rejects them.

Note: This fix only affects records published after the latest update. Records already marked as Published before the update will stay on the Published dashboard.

Ed-Fi Framework: Staff Contact Publishing via Publish Selection

Fixed an issue where district level Staff Contact records failed to publish during Publish Selection. District staff contact records now publish as expected alongside school associations.

Deselecting the Alternate Assessment indicator for a student now automatically sends a delete request to Ed-Fi to remove their published SC-Alt Student Assessment Registration.

Ed-Fi: Optimized School Filtering for Dashboard Publish Selection

The Publish Selection option on the Ed-Fi dashboard has been optimized to process only the schools where a student has active, remote, or prior enrollments for the selected school year, rather than evaluating all schools across the district.

Benefit:
Significantly speeds up processing time and improves overall dashboard performance when publishing selected students.

Ed-Fi: Resolved Staging Backend Errors on Student Assessment Registrations

When publishing assessment records from the Data Exchange Dashboard for students with multiple assessment registrations, users encountered a Staging Backend Error on the Student Assessment Registrations data view under the Assessment Category (EDFI_SC_73_Assessment Errors), preventing records from staging and publishing successfully.

Resolution:
The backend staging query logic for Student Assessment Registrations has been updated to filter uniquely per assessment registration. Records now stage and publish as expected without staging errors or duplicate row collisions when publishing from the dashboard or student publishing pages.

SC Student Information: English Proficiency Level Display on MLP Tab

Previously, when certain English Proficiency Level values (such as ALS - < 3 Less Than Three, AL3 - Developing, AL4 - Expanding, or AL5 - Bridging) were selected and saved on the SC Student Information page (Compliance > SC Student Information), the read-only English Proficiency Level field on the MLP tab appeared blank.

Resolution:
The MLP tab dropdown display mappings have been updated. The read-only English Proficiency Level field on the MLP tab now correctly displays all valid English Proficiency selections saved on the SC Student Information page.

SCDE 26-27 BOY CTE Changes

The following Beginning of Year (BOY) updates to the Student CTE UI page have been made per SCDE requirements.

• New Term Values Added: The values FA27 and SP28 have been added to the dropdown options for the following fields:

  • Concentrator Year 1, 2, and 3

  • Completion Year 1, 2, and 3

  • Certification Admin Year

• CIP Code Description Update: Updated the display name for CIP Code 1, CIP Code 2, and CIP Code 3:

  • 1400IN: Aviation Technology (Florence 1, Marion, Dillon 3 or Dillon 4 Schools Only)

SCDE 26-27 BOY Initialization Process Changes - SC25 Miscellaneous SC Fields Initialization Report

The SC25 Miscellaneous SC Fields Initialization Report initialization logic has been updated for the 2026–2027 Beginning of Year (BOY) process to align with SCDE requirements.

English Proficiency Level (S_SC_STU_X.Engl_Prof):

• When initialized, records with a value of M4 are now automatically updated to 8 (previously cleared/set to blank).

• Records with a value of SSI are cleared during the initialization process.
