Staff Assignment object provides information about staff members who are assigned to various courses and sections.This resource can be published for Charter Schools (using the Sub-Districts feature) from Staff Assignment in the SIF Unity Framework.

StaffAssignment records are published for each staff member who is assigned to a school that is part of the zone. There is one StaffAssignment per school to which the staff member is assigned. The StaffAssignment contains most of the Work Assignment data for the staff member. For a Super District, a staff member must be assigned to one of the schools that is part of the district to be published. For non-Super Districts, a staff member can be assigned to the District Office as long as the District Office is part of the SIF Zone.

StaffAssignment records are only published from the Work Assignment Records link on the Staff Information page; this is the recommended method of publishing the WAR records. To set this up correctly, see Staff Setup. The StaffAssignment object is based on a static record related to the school of the assignment (if the staff member is not a teacher) or is based on the dynamic record for the school.

Selection Criteria

A staff assignment record must have either a static WAR record or a dynamic WAR record. A separate record is created for every school–role combination.

PrimaryAssignment	Is this the staff member's primary assignment? Note: There must be one and only one instance of the object with a Yes value in this element per school year. JobStartDate	This is the date from which the staff assignment is valid (inclusive). JobFTE	Full-time job equivalent ratio for this assignment. (Format is X.XX; If an employee is full-time but works 50% on this assignment, is represented as 0.50)	O	[Static] FTE [S_MA_USR_StaffRoster_x] MaxFTE	WA12	When determining the FTE, the SIF Agent first checks for a static record related to this school that does not contain a Course Section mapping. If a static record is available, the FTE on the static record is used. If a record is not available, the SIF Agent uses the value available in the MaxFTE. JobFunction	The purpose of the activities as related to students.	O
