Segment Family Evaluation

Introduction

The segment family is the Category/Program name used in the FY2016 FTE Categories and Weights document from the Georgia DOE. The family is used to group courses together, and each family is associated with an FTE program code.

The digits in the course number identify the family for each course/segment. Each course number is evaluated in the order indicated in the table below. The course number begins its evaluation at the top of the table and once it meets an evaluation point, the process moves to the next course number, which also begins processing from the top of the table.
