Career and Technical Education Credential Collection (CTECC) Report

Report Description
This generates the Career and Technical Education Credential Collection report for the June reporting period. The report will return Industry Credential Exam Results with an Exam Date between the specified Report Start Date and Report End Date.
The school number returned with the exam result is the Serving School selected on the Student’s CTECC exam result entry.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
The report selects records from the [S_VA_STU_CrdntlExamRslt_C] table based on the following criteria:
- The exam date must be >= report start date.
- The exam date must be <= report end date.
- Student exam record must not be excluded from state reporting.
- Credential Exam record must not be excluded from state reporting.
- Student must not be excluded from state reporting.

Field | Description |
Report Start Date* | Enter the start date for the report date range - required. |
Report End Date | Enter the end date for the report date range. |
Sender’s Email | Enter the email address of the person sending the report to the Virginia DOE. |
Exam Selection Method | It is possible to enter multiple exam results for the same exam for the same student. Selecting "Return only newest result" will limit the results to one per exam per student, returning only the newest, by exam date, within the selected Report Start Date and Report End Date. Selecting "Return all results" will allow multiple exam result records to be returned for the same student and exam. |
