Use the CTE Post Secondary Credit report to collect student-level participation information related to CTE approved programs that enable students to earn post-secondary credit.
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to the selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:
- The school is not excluded from State reporting.
- The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:
- The student is not excluded from state reporting.
- The student was enrolled during the designated time frame.
- The student must have a post-secondary credit code entered.

If run at the district level, choose one of the following:
If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
Select the button to run for The Selected Students or All Students
Enter the beginning date in the range of dates you want to use to determine the student enrollment records to include on the report.
Enter the end date in the range of dates you want to use to determine the student enrollment records to include on the report.
Scheduling – Run Now
Leave Run Now selected to run the report now.
Click Submit to run the report now
Scheduling – Please Select When to run
Click the Schedule button to schedule this report to run.
Please Select Schedule Settings
Enter the Start Date and Start Time. Click the Repeat button.
Please select repeat cycle options.
Choose the applicable option.
Please select end date range option
Enter the appropriate information.
Click Submit to schedule the report
Districts using the Automated Data Transfer (ADT) system may utilize the SQL script for state reporting purposes provided at the bottom of the report page.
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report is described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.
This field contains the state assigned two-digit local education agency code (LEA). Start Page > District Setup > District Information.
This field contains the state assigned five-digit code that identifies the school building. Start Page > District Setup > Schools/School Info > Edit School.
This field contains the five-digit code that identifies the Career and Tech Center School where the program is offered. Start Page > Student Selection > State/Province RI > CTE - Credits Earned.

This field contains the student identification number assigned by the Rhode Island State Department of Education. Start Page > Student Selection > Rhode Island State Information.
This field contains the location where the student earned PS credit. Start Page > Student Selection > State/Province RI > CTE - Credits Earned.
