Introduction
The District Fact Template - Safe Schools generates nine records that provide a detailed breakdown of qualifications for School Security Officers and School Police Officers. If the scope of security services provided by the LEA (either directly or contracted) during the school year meets one of the following valid values, the District Fact Template should be used to extract the data.
Selection Criteria
Valid Values for services provided-(Select one of the options below located at > Start Page > District Setup > District Information > Scope of Security Contract (District Fact Template Requirement)
- 1 - All schools in LEA
- 2 - High school(s) only
- 3 - Middle school(s) only
- 4 - High school(s) and middle school(s)
- 5 - Elementary school(s) only
- 6 - Other
For districts that have not specified a value for Scope of Security Contract on the District Info page, a single record will be returned for state submission. This record will indicate a 0 in the COUNT Field and ZERO for category 2.
Staff members will be counted in this report based on the following:
- Active status during the selected year
- Staff Qualification Status Code
- Contracted Security Personnel indicator
- Exclude from PIMS indicator.
