Introduction

This report is used to report Incident Detail information (formerly called School Safety Incident Collection) from Incident Management Data. Only PA State Reportable incidents are included. Both School Sanctions (Suspensions, Expulsions) as well as Remedial Programs are reported.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determines which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

School Selection

The report selects records from the Schools table where at least one incident record occurred at the school during the reporting period.

Student Selection

The report selects the records from the Students table where student is not excluded from state reporting.

Discipline Incident Selection

The report selects the records from the Incident Management Tables where the Incident Type is State Reportable.
The Incident Start Date and Incident End date will report incidents occurring between the two dates

Field	Description
Select Schools	Indicate which schools to include in the report by selecting from the following options: If sub-districts are not enabled: Select Multiple Schools – Select the schools for which you want to run the report. Includes all student records associated with the selected schools that meet the selection criteria. All Schools (default) – Run the report for all schools. Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria If sub-districts are enabled: Select Sub-district - Select the sub-district for which you want to run the report. Select Multiple Schools – Select the schools for which you want to run the report. Includes all student records associated with the selected schools that meet the selection criteria. All Schools in selected sub-district (default) – Run the report for all schools in the selected sub-district. Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria. If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
Students to Include	Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options: The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection. All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria. Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.
Select School Year	Choose the applicable school year from the pop-up menu.
Incident Start Date (will report offenders on incidents on or after this date)	Select the incident start date. The report will pull offenders for incidents on or after this date.
Incident End Date (will report offenders on incidents on or before this date)	Select the incident end date. The report will pull offenders for incidents on or before this date.
Sort by School?	Select the sort by school option from the pop-up menu.
Include Student Names?	Select Yes or No as applicable from the pop-up menu.
Incident Type	Select the incident type from the pop-up menu.
Field Delimiter	Select the field delimiter for the extract file.
Run Now	Select this option to run the report immediately.
Schedule	Select this option to run the report on a scheduled basis. Once this option is selected, the following are the choices available: Run Once Start Date and Start Time to run the report. Repeat Select Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly for the appropriate re-occurrence for running the report. If Daily is selected, check the Weekdays only box to limit to weekdays. If Weekly is selected, check which weekday to run the report. If Monthly is selected, check the month to run the report. If Yearly is selected, select either the date or the weekday to run the report. Date Range – Select No End Date or a date that the re-occurrence should end.

Part 1 – Incidents (by Date)

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report is described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Note: For Victims, only the Incident Attributes and Victim Attributes are reported; there is no Behavior and Action data.
