Report Description

The Student A+ Detail Extract includes one record for every student in grades 9-12 currently enrolled in the school. The report can be run for a selection of students or all students. All A+ Information is reported including Mentor/Tutor and Attendance Hours by grade level.

Note: The Store Historic Attendance Information for A+ process must be run before the Student A+ Detail will show accurate results.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student Selection

The report selects records from the [Students]table based on the following criteria:

The student must have an active school enrollment for the current school.
The student must be in grades 9-12 or be a graduate.
The student cannot be excluded from state reporting.

Field

Description

Students to Include

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

The selected [number]students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
All students – Run the report for all students in the current school that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.

Year

The pop-up menu defaults to the currently selected school year. To change the school year, click Term at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school year term.

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Cum HS Attendance % YTD	The student’s cumulative attendance percentage for grades 9-12. The calculation is based on Year-to-Date attendance and absence hours as of the day the report was run plus all prior year values.	Derived
Hrs Needed to Appeal	The number of hours a student must appeal and have added back to attendance to qualify with 95% attendance. Negative hours must be appealed, positive hours indicate a student is on track for 95% attendance. The value will only be calculated for students in grade 12 or graduates. Note: The appeal calculation assumes PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the remaining school year.	Derived
